|  About Us PageHiello and welcome to our website. Sue and I met nearly ten years ago at a monthly knitting group and soon discovered that we shared the dream of one day running a wool shop. We haven't yet reached the dizzy heights of a physical shop but we hope that this virtual shop located somewhere in cyber-space (actually in the middle of Leicestershire) will serve to meet your needs for beautiful yarns for socks, scarves, gloves and other small projects.
We are both avid sock knitters and anyone who has tried it will know how quickly it becomes addictive. And if you've never tried it - well, what delights you've got in store! Sock-knitting is so therapeutic and your family and friends will be very grateful, even though they don't realise it yet.
I knitted socks for all my family for Christmas last year and their reaction on opening their gifts was distinctly underwhelming - however, two weeks later I'd had everyone on the phone saying "those socks are just so comfortable - could I please have some more?"
